i know that rarely anyone uses windows 98 anymore. but i found it very amusing one day while sitting at my pc just playing some games when i get a nice little error message "ERROR - Windows can not find the X file". i was like whoa. i guess 98 has the "ability" to "detect" other kinds of "life forms". i got a book of all the windows errors from 95 to xp. i looked up the "x file" error and the comment was to just ignore it. yet it is strange that the error occurred while playing a game and it sure wasnt an x files game either. lol.

Really. One time, my friend Jarvid's OS broke, and he was forced to install Linux. During the installation, it detected his installation of XP as 98 SE, so now you know what XP was built off of!
lolz i could of told you that.. 3.1 was built off apple and ibm, 95 became its own, 98 was built off 95, me was built off 98, 2000 was built off 98 and nt, and xp was built off 2000. i love 2000 still thou
